Curcumin supplementation modestly reduces liver fat and lowers elevated liver enzymes (ALT/AST) in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease across several meta-analyses — but the trials are heterogeneous, short, and use varied (often phytosomal) formulations, so it's a promising adjunct rather than an established therapy.
